Off She Goes!

January brought us 3 angels from America, working at Del Sol here in St. Lucia. They soon became know as "The White Girls"! They taught classes in Primary, Young Women and Relief Society. They sang, did really funny skits, help decorate, were captains for Young Conference,
help teach the Book of Mormon Class, gave talks in Sacrament Meeting and countless other things to help! But the most meaningful they did was to love the Lucian people, they would stuff all the Young Women in their small car and then go singing and yelling through the streets! (something these Young Women had never done) They gathered all they could fit in their car and would head for a day at the beach! They took goodies to the members and always lifted their spirits! They gave rides to and from church, which helped Taxi Driver Sherwood tremendously! We have become so attached to these "White Girls" that saying good-bye to Kelsey today was very hard! The other two leave in 3 weeks! They leave behind lots of fun memories and a new way of having fun for all the youth! They have blessed our lives and lifted us all to new heights!

Each time we buy mangos and other things from Magilda, she always throws in a couple of extras "For My Friend" she says! She has been working at that roadside stand for 16 years!
